How to add a resource to this wiki
Welcome to the Re-Entry Resources Wiki!
This wiki is a clearinghouse for useful resources in Tacoma and Pierce County for people making the transition from prison or jail to community life. Although the wiki is designed to assist formerly incarcerated individuals, their families, and others who support them, many of the resources gathered here address basic needs. We hope that others will find this compilation helpful as well. This wiki is managed by New Connections.

Our goal is to promote effective re-entry plans that provide continuity from incarceration back into the community using existing community resources. If you offer such services or know of valuable resources not listed here, please add these to the Wiki. The menu on the left side of this page can be used to navigate the wiki.

We welcome suggestions, corrections, additions, and questions. Comments can be posted in the discussion section of the wiki (click “discussion” in the menu bar).

If your organization is included in these pages, please help us to provide accurate and useful resource for our community by updating your information as needed. If you offer re-entry and/or support services in Pierce County and are not included here, we encourage you to add a brief entry describing your services and contact information; extensive entries (or descriptions that read like advertisements rather than descriptions of services) may be edited by the site administrators to conserve space. Please maintain the basic formatting of these pages as much as possible. Inappropriate content will be removed by our wiki editors.Content may also be submitted via the site administrator:
